Geography
The Argentine Republic is a country in the southern half of South America. It shares the bulk of the Southern Cone with Chile to the west, and is also bordered by Bolivia and Paraguay to the north, Brazil to the northeast, Uruguay and the South Atlantic Ocean to the east, and the Drake Passage to the south. Argentina covers an area of 2,780,400 km2 and is the largest Spanish-speaking nation in the world. It is the second-largest country in South America after Brazil, and the eighth-largest country in the world.

Environmental issues
Deforestation has lead to nearly three quarters of Argentina’s vast forest being cut down since 1914 to allow for soya bean or cattle farming.
Argentina also faces the issue of energy consumption and management and the inefficient use of non-renewable resources.

Climate Change
Stephanie has been campaigning since 2013 for environmental causes and following a stint at the Environmental Protection Agency of Argentina during which time she went to COP21 in Paris her activism developed. By 2019 she was coordinating action to pressure the Argentinian Executive resulting in the Declaration of Climate and Ecological Emergency and the National Climate Change Law.

Stephanie is a committed activist for animal rights and believes the climate change discussion is completely entwined with the animal agriculture discussion
In 2019 Stephanie joined the Climate Save Movement, an environmental and animal rights organization, where today she is its global campaigns coordinator.
