Geography

Chile is a country in the western part of South America. It is the southernmost country in the world, and the closest to Antarctica, occupying a long and narrow strip of land between the Andes to the east and the Pacific Ocean to the west. It shares land borders with Peru to the north, Bolivia to the north-east, Argentina to the east, and the Drake Passage in the far south. . It also claims about 1,250,000 square kilometers (480,000 sq mi) of Antarctica under the Chilean Antarctic Territory.

Environmental issues

The primary environmental concerns in Chile include deforestation, water scarcity, pollution, soil erosion, climate change, and biodiversity loss. This is especially the case in areas with heavy industry that have been declared as "sacrifice zones"

About Cristopher

Cristopher started with nature photography with an SLR camera and from there began to do bird courses and to meet friends who guided him to take wildlife photographs

Cristopher describes that what attracts him to Nature is being able to transmit, educate, and make people aware that we are not only the only species, and that people are interested and enjoy what he publishes. Whenever he uploads a photograph he adds the story of that animal explaining areas such as their behaviour, environment, or conservation. He hopes that his photographs are seen by people who are not normally interested in nature and that the images might encourage them to become nature lovers
